I’ve spent 15 years timidly scratching and the last 5 constantly pecking to gather what works. Including helpful tricks, tools and resources to help you confidently start or keep gathering family from many languages and cultures. And learn many stories in the process, as I have.
Such as when my young great grandmother gathered chickens at the end of the every day. She had to separate them nightly from the neighbors flock. To make it easier, she and her brother painted the chickens…you guessed it: GREEN!
